Chateau Renault, Egg Harbor City

I was really excited to stay at Chateau Renault, and while the grounds and hotel were beautiful, our experience was marred by a lack of dining options and service issues. The staff tried to be accommodating, but it was disappointing to not have a proper meal arranged for us, especially as we were celebrating. I appreciate the lovely decor and history of the place, but overall, the dining experience left much to be desired.

While the winery has a beautiful setting and offered tasty food, my experience was marred by some significant service issues. The remodeled location was appealing, but deep cleaning seems to be overlooked, detracting from the overall experience. Add to that the unexpected extra charges that caught me off guard.

My recent stay at the Renault Winery wasn't as delightful as I'd hoped. While the rooms were spacious and clean, the lack of charm due to ongoing renovations and no restaurant on-site really dampened the experience. The customer service was commendable, but the absence of daily wine tours and proper dining choice was disappointing. If you're into golf or weddings, this place might still have its draws, but I left feeling it wasn't worth the cost.

Renault Winery Hotel offers beautiful grounds and a spacious hotel, making it a nice escape for gatherings or events. While the renovations have enhanced the property significantly, the lack of dining options and limited activities are drawbacks for certain guests. I enjoyed the charm of the venue and its history, but improvements are needed to create a full experience, especially in dining and activities outside of golf.
